compact flash cards

Hi all and help was woundering if any ones knows if it possiable to recover photos from a compact flash card for some reason i have about 5 photos that i know where on the card and are now gone. Using the ist D and scandisk ultra 11 256 MB card (jpg file large) i was about half way though the card stopped to preveiw what i had taken then almost finished the card had another look though and about 5 photos are missing. I am pritty sure i never hit the delate button by mistake any help would be great because as is always the case the 2 most important photos are ones that are missing thanks every one cheers Greg

If you attach the card to a pc using a card reader. you should (I think) be able to use file recovery software to extract whatever is on the card.

Just don't record anything else on the card meanwhile.

Hi,
Do a search in google, type in ,free digital image recovery and there is sostware to do this.
As the other post said, you will req a card reader attached to the PC

Thanks all i did as was mentioned and either the photo is gone for good or when viewed on the large screan it wasnt as good as i thought thanks for you help cheers Greg
