The first one is about as close to perfection that you will get, I think!
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Some nice detail in the pictures however I think the first one could benefit from being made slightly darker and a bit of contrast added.

Second one is spot on ... love the pose as well.

i was trying for a more light-weight feel to the first, as opposed to the weight of the pose in no.2, solidly set down on the b/g paper.........
