The number 6

So a shot of a 6 or get 6 subjects/objects on the photo.
You can look at the current entries are look at the first weekly competition that has the same theme.

Bump. More entries please!

I think next time maybe 1 week for entries, 1 week for votes? 2 days voting doesn't seem long.

I thought I would try and support this new competition with an entry, but had a bit of trouble finding one. However, I found a pic, taken last week, that fits the theme I guess, as it has six birds in it. However, I find birds in cages very disturbing so I was a bit reluctant to enter it, but at least the six birds in my picture were uncaged, but you can see the rows of cages in the background.

I agree 2 days doesn't seem long but I think it's long enough.
To vote it will most likely only take a couple of minutes and the entries can be watch constantly.
You probably already have a favourite now and if you just watch the new entries of the day voting might only take a couple of seconds even.
Therefore I thought that time could be better spend on entering the photo does that make sense?

Lets see how it goes for now, I think a longer run of a month for the whole comp and the last week for voting might be better. it gives you more time and more entries to consider and it doesn't interfere so much with the other competitions.
At least that's my idea does any one have some thoughts about this matter, the more we know how each of us think the better we can come together to create a competition for everyone.

Working on something but it's too hot to be stuck inside at the moment. I'll see how it goes.

Weather was now quite bearable today, hopefully you had time to make a photo.

Well I've entered. It's not what I had originally planned to do but it is a new photo, something I quickly did this afternoon.
It makes a change for me to even enter a competition - be gentle with me

I did think of entering the photo I made for my husband's 60th birthday card, but decided to go for a new photo. It may even get me taking photos again. Who knows.

Gwyn, it's already great to see you enter the competition and it would surely be interesting to see what they think of your entry when the voting is over.

I'm just home and going through my photos soon to see if I got something.

You'd get on well with my other half

He has a Fender acoustic too, but not a Jumbo. And a Martin and a ...well you get the picture.

Still he dreams of getting more guitars. I don't mind - he can't complain about a touch of LBA then can he
