A picture I took on the weekend at the British Museum, London. What do you think? Does it work? Any suggestions? I plan on cloning the person out at the top of the stairs.

I think it works very well and could perhaps be improved with a little more contrast.

yeah and just to be picky i could point at the top right litle piece of window there.
the bottom line also seem a bit tight, would wanted just a bit more "air",
but then you probably had to sacrifice too much of the top.
nice architectural shot.

I would make the lower part of the 'handrail' parallel to the bottom. That way the bit of window on the top right would get even smaller and lend itself to cloning out. I agree with Mannesty that a bit more contrast wouldn't do any harm. Cloning out the person is the way to go, though I had preferred having the person in the frame, a bit further away from the wall. This would give much better scale.

Oh, and yes, this shot works well and I do like it very much. It's really nice with all these geometric pieces but the cherry on the cake for me is the shadow on the round building.

Cloned out the man, and a sign on the bottom left. Increased the contrast a little using curves. Tried straightening as suggested by Prieni. Better??

I will try and clone out the rest of the window on the top right...but its a bit tricky with all the shadows and lines, so will take a little bit of effort!

Those changes have really made a difference.

Now all it needs is a dancing bear in a red anorak on those stairs, you should be able to clone one in easily enough

hi,i have looked at both photographs and i like the figure in the first picture.It adds a bit of mystery.[WHO IS THAT MYSTERIOUS FIGURE AND WHAT IS HE UP TO?]

The last shot is greatly improved. Nice shot and well spotted.

The second shot is better but like Tracey I liked the figure in the first shot, he/she adds mystery and scale to the photo.

Much prefer the 2nd shot after 'tweaks', think that the figure isn't in the frame enough to add anything, IMHO.
Great shot to begin with and well seen.
Lovely in B&W.

I agree with alig, I prefer the second shot. I think the figure in the first is too small / tucked away to draw my interest. I think if you'd have caught him one step earlier it might have worked. (IMHO )
