The pink in No3 is so delicate, and I like the layout of No8.

Thanks for your comments - all these colours turned a regular walk into something really enjoyable!
Gareth - there are lots of those flowers about at the moment, not necessarily in gardens either. I'm not a flower expert by any stretch of the imagination, but I think (after getting my wife's approval) that they are a kind of poppy, possibly known as Californian poppies.

Your wife is correct, botanical name Eschscholzia Californica aka Californian Poppy. Not a true poppy, though.but I think (after getting my wife's approval) that they are a kind of poppy, possibly known as Californian poppies.
