Found this through Twitter, and it's a very good demo of why you should never trust your eyes!

Reminded me of things mentioned in Galen Rowell's book 'Inner Game of Outdoor Photography', where he writes about Edwin Land's experiments and demonstrations regarding the way we percieve colour. Very good book if you can find it, worth getting from the library.

this is one of the best colour illusion I have seen in fact . I love those sort of things.
Its amazing how the eye perceives things. Even after being told that the gree and blue are the same colour I know people who would swear by their feet that its not .
Can't wait to send this link to some of my friends . Thanks for sharing this

Wrong Amin, it's how our mind perceives things
We don't have the power to analyze most of what we see, I believe that 5% or 10% is real and the rest is filled in with our imagination and experience.

Here are most of the illusions

for cool effect..those of you with a macbook, try two finger dragging on your trackpad to make the image dance up and down, and watch the colors change....
Fired many shots. Didn't kill anything.

Amazing.... If your jpg/gif viewer allows you to zoom in save the gif and load it then keep zooming in until the blue becomes green.

I could spend hours on this site, where the original illusion came from.
