Colour cast when using ND filter

I have the Hitech ND grads, 0.3, 0.6 and 0.9 and I don't get colour casts like this. It may be to do with the WB settings, but 'm not sure. In actual fact I quite like it and prefer the colours on the second image to those on the first, which look a bit cold to my eye.

Does the EXIF show the same colour balance?

Thanks for your comments so far !
The first shot more accurately reflects the weather conditions. It was a cold, crisp day and nothing like the colours shown in the ND shot.
The (auto) White Balance for the first loaded into LR as Temp = 4950, Tint +11.
For the ND shot, it loaded as Temp = 7100, Tint = -5.
In LR, I tried correcting the ND shot to the same WB as the first shot but it is still way off compared to the first shot.

Looks like you have a "white" reference point. In lightroom select the white shutters/doors with the WB eye dropper. See if that gives you a decent starting point.
I get a colour cast when I stack Hitech Grads, but if you can find a neutral gray or white you can usually sort it

The second was shot using a Hi-Tech 0.9 ND filter, then processed exactly the same as above :
My query is why I am getting such a terrible colour cast on the ND shot ? The only thing I can think is it's because I was shooting using Auto WB. I haven't had chance yet to try again using (say) Daylight WB and would welcome any input on what I am doing wrong, how to overcome etc.
I have read several reports on here that HiTech ND filters are pretty good so I doubt the posters would see my results as acceptable, hence my cry for help please !
Many thanks
Nigel
