Been a while since I posted anything here, so I thought I'd post some images before we head off to Europe for our summer hols.

May was a reflective month.

The last people might recognise as a recent comp entry - though for that I mistakenly posted a lower res image.

All shots with the K5 + Sigma 50-150

C&C welcome as always.

Have noticed that the Forum resizing is resulting in a slight dip in quality, so if you want to see them in all their... ahem... glory, click on the images.

Great set, I really like reflections, and these are excellent, with 1, 3 and 5 being my favourites, especially #5. I like 4 too, especially the way the guy with the headset appears to be smiling down at the family, but the mirrored writing looks a bit odd to me. I might be tempted to flip it so the writing is the right way round, but then the writing at the bottom would be mirrored.... I suppose that could then be flipped....but I'm waffling...

1-3 are very nice. 4 & 5 add another dimension with the layering effect of the reflections. Hats off!

Thanks guys. Hadn't thought about reversing the writing - not a bad idea, AG. BTW no.3 is at ISO 1600 with the K5 - don't think the K20 would have achieved this detail.

Very good. 4 is my pick. I didn't think much of 3 until I saw the ghost foot amd then I liked it.

4 then 5 for me Doc, and I wouldn't have picked 3 for one taken at ISO 1,600.

Cheers, i-Berg, Doc.

I agree with you about the ghost foot Doc. Some people thought the image would be improved with the loss of the phantom foot, but I (and others) think it strengthens the shot. More questions raised in the viewer, which I like.
