Cokin Filters on DA* 16-50

The Cokin P-series are shown to work at up to Ø82mm but in one of the notes it suggest Vinetting may occur on some wide angle lenses greater than Ø72. The DA*16-50 is Ø77 so it falls with that ...

Has anyone tried a P-series with the lens set at 16mm? If so, what are the results? And was it with a standard or Wide angle filter holder?
