Does the cokin filter range suit the 645D.

What I would really like to know is what Cokin System I should use with the 645D? Not sure if I should use P, X or Z Cokin System with the 55mm lens. If anyone can help, I would be most grateful.

Kind regards

I wouldn't spoil your quality images with Cokin filters. Filters on digital cameras have far less purpose than they ever did on film anyway.

There are exceptions, such as IR filters, polarisers, graduated filters.

This may be a little out of date for you now, but I used a full range of Cokin XPro on my 645n. I have recently purchased a 645D and I been playing about with them to see the effects etc. I can assure you they are still a valuable tool/accessary, in particular as John says, the grads and circular polarisers. Don't be afraid to have a go, you will create some spectacular images as well as some c--p good only for the bin. That's one of the great beauties of digi. You don't need to spend hours in the darkroom.
Have fun and good luck.

I use the Z system on the 645 only with ND grads. For the 55mm lens, you can use the P system. Down to 35mm or 25/28mm, the Z system is a must.
