Hi there,

Just wondered if anyone has this flash unit. I've just bought one on ebay but there are no instructions with it.

Cheers

I did have one a long time ago...
At one point I had to contact their helpdesk (in Essex IIRC) and they were extremely helpful

Might be worth dropping them an email and they might have a PDF version around.

Cheers Matt.

It's a brilliant looking flash for my needs. Maybe I'll give in and finally buy a flash unit which does all those modern whizz bang things like p-ttl and hispeed sync!!

I don't suppose you remember what the on/off switch marked "find auto check" does on the hotshoe part.

Rob,
Are you sure that's a Pentax hotshoe?
The D650 had interchangeable hotshoes for different camera bodies.
I do remember a tiny switch on the Pentax hotshoe... I think it controlled how the D650 talked back to the camera so it could behave like a really old dedicated flash, or like a TTL dedicated flash.

Of course, you'll only be able to use it on "A" and "M" modes on the Pentax DSLR bodies.
