Today I got unexpectedly close to a Cormorant which is a bird I've been trying to get good shots of for a couple of years now, but just could never get close enough!

A couple here with a full gallery page and blog post on the site!

Wow

If you are finding the 600mm a tad heavy I am willing to look after it for a few years for you

Cheers Neil, still working out how to get the most out of social media, might have to ask you for some tips!

Thanks Stan, really wanted a cracking head on shot with just the eyes in focus but a combination of light from one side, quick movement and not quite nailing the focussing meant I didn't quite get it. Still very pleased with these though!

Cheers Stuey and thanks for the offer but it would involve at least a 10 year apprenticeship carrying it around for me first!

That's it for this year! Happy New Year and hope to have loads to share next year!
