love the drama of the first one, it almost looks Japanese. the others are excellent also. hoping to get down there this year, only live an hour away and never been. there is also an old pier in Weston-Super Mare as well, Birnbeck Pier but not sure how much is left.

I don't know why but I just love piers. If I was a gazillionair I'd buy em all and keep them alive.
As for me, all I know is that I know nothing.

Some gorgeous shots here, David.
If you do win the lottery then do buy Birnbeck Pier in Weston, it's in such a sorry state and may be lost for ever if something's not done soon.

Really very nice images here David - I especially love No 2 & 4 - 2 has such good balance with all the 'elements', and 4 has a dreamy high key feel. All beautiful!

It'll take the rest of my life to process all the photos I've taken recently - and I've still got the Edinburgh Fringe looming on the calendar.
Here's some of the first few I've run through Photoshop.
These were taken on the K3 and K5 with DA*s 16-50, 50-135mm and 200mm lenses.
