nice thing is that I live in the east of the Netherlands. Den Ham is 65km from my home.

I live in The Hague so I'm a Zuid-Hollander!
Wassenaar is in the right direction for me, plus being a member of IMAGES international photography club, we have 'special' arragement with Mr Nabarro..... and with the guys at Kamera-Express in Capelle ...

25 euros?
Wow! Nikon Canada just recently charged us $325 CAD ($150 Brit pounds) to clean our D100 sensor. Of course, there was some corrosion inside (after four years and 50,000+ shots) that had to be cleaned up, so that might explain the extra cost.

It depends how you treat the camera. My MX cameras that I bought all those years ago are still working, buy I don't dunk them in water or take them out in the rain without a plastic bag for a cover. Plus, they are all mechanical.

Well, I reckon it would needa bit of drying out, but it would be a good excuse to upgrade to the 16-45.

Seems like quite a long way to go, especially on a Friday in the Netherlands, you get stuck in a traffic jam and that's your day over......
Japan Camera in Waassenaar apparently cleans sensors for 25 euros....
