Claydon House - Up close & personal

Walked around Claydon House on Sunday - my first outing without crutches! Decided to take a different approach instead of my usual "oh, there's a country house I'll photograph it" and went for different angles (now that I can actually crouch, and more importantly get back up successfully).

So here are 6 very different ones, all taken with my K10D, Pentax 35mm macro wide open at F2.8. No cropping or adjustments, just converted to jpg using Aperture. Let me know what you think.

Lovely textured stone post, ISO 320:

Nice series and yes, different. The last one has most appeal to me.

Thank you for your comment Peter, it was a bonus that there were two Bentleys in the carpark as we were leaving!

You're welcome. Re. the Bentley, it needs rotating anticlockwise slightly to straighten the radiator cap and windscreen.

Just a tad more needed. If you scroll the image up so that the round bar on top of the radiator cap is close to the horizontal top border of this window, you'll see what I mean. I'm being a bit picky I guess.
