Christmas Rose showing the beauty of the flower which, because it hangs down is usually hidden. Have kept the sun on the right to add shadow

Lovely photo. I like the way the stamens are dead sharp and everything else is just a tiny bit soft, but not so much as to detract. Really good choice of aperture. What was the set-up?
I would be tempted to clone out the dark spots on the petals to the right.
Best wishes, Kris.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Kris. I needed to pick this flower to set it up. I have a dirty greenhouse that filters the sun beautifully and allows strong shadows which I use for a lot of my macro shots. It was my K10 with Tamron 90mm macro lens F8 at 1/350. ISO 100. Not sure that I am uploading my pics properly. There is quite a lot of the shot missing on the right. Do I need to resize my pics. No indication of this in the uploading instructions. Can you help, please?

Very nice shot. The uploading works fine. There seems, however, to be a consensus on this site to keep pictures at 800 pixels on the longest side.

can you help a dummy understand how to resize for Photobucket. I need someone to hold my hand in these situations. How the years have mistreated me. I used to resize for ephotozine but can't remember how.

I, for one, resize in Photoshop Elements before uploading to Photobucket: Image/Resize/Image Size and enter 800 pixels on the longest side.
Best regards
