Seeing as we are on the food theme!

Went to Falmouth today and took the 1.4 50mm ONLY !!
Thought you might like to see they are gift wrapping them now for Christmas down these parts!

This brut is over 2 foot long and 12 quid, but it is best steak, I prefer the veggie ones myself but they don't come that muckle!

...and a "Mer ristmas" to you too!

That second one looks like an ugly fish.

It's fun just taking the one lens out sometimes isn't it? And the 50 1.4 is great for it.

Mmmm, Cornish pasties!

Stayed in Marhamchurch near Bude a few years back, I've had a longing for proper Cornish pasties since!

Not sure if I could manage 'The Beast' though!

What a waste, coating cornish pasties with gold glitter. It's been years since I had a real pastie. Thanks for the memories, now, what's for lunch I wonder?

You have inspired me. I was wondering what to cook tonight. OK they won't be as good as the real thing but pasties it is for me tonight.
My son saw the photo of the beast and fancied one. He'd manage all of it too.

Remember not to chop the veg, slice thinly and roughly and NO carrots if you want a 'proper' one , just swede, onion and tattie, hope you have a nice pasty supper proper job!

Bloody hell I'm hungry now. Cornish pasties are truly the food of kings. I wasn't in Newquay for half long enough this summer.

On the way home past Exeter I stopped by for a Devonshire cream tea in Budleigh Salterton.

(While I was at it, why not an Axminster carpet en route too?)
