Christmas could really be Christmas this year..
There's also a planned new radio trigger system from Metz that will offer remote multi-flash P-TTL as well as group manual control ....very enticing prospect for sure, although I am not aware of any firm release date for Pentax versions yet. Better times ahead ...... ?

Stuart..
Do they have HSS capability also?
Stuart..
The 2x shanny SN910EX-RF & SN910TX that I bought for the D500 are currently being boxed up for return as the transmitter and it's replacement refuses to link with the flashguns...
So... great idea but only if it works!
Sounds great....

Lets hope the Pentax version is more successful !!
Stuart..
The main remaining question about it is extended compatibilities' with non-Metz flashes. A poster at PentaxForums recently had contact with Metz and was told that Pentax's own current flashes will be compatible. If that turns out to be true we'll have a very powerful radio remote plus full P-TTL/Manual system.
Of course let's hope this new more budget Shanny choice proves to be a competitive option at a lower price .... Then our choices really will have expanded!

But if you type Pentax K20d in ebay search bar , this flash is listed in the first page.
A chineese seller .
Regards
What range of Pentax models would this be compatible with? K-30 / K-S1?
I notice one ebay seller in the US has this listed as P-TTL for one listing K100 etc but TTL for another listing for K-50 etc?
Aliexpress options also.
Just for info...

Stuart..
Wow, that's looking super attractive for me. HSS is something I'm interested in, especially off camera. If they have a trigger coming for this it will be great.

Its common to see 'TTL' nowadays used as a generic reference to the various modern flash metering protocols across all brands ... so generally speaking with new third party equipment, if it specifies it is designed for Pentax, then 'TTL' means 'P-TTL'. Its common for them to be mixed and matched I've noticed.
Beware however, anything that lists a K100 as a compatible camera could surely be a rather old item .... ?
