Chillingham Castle

There is a clear white line around the edge of the castle and trees making the join pretty obvious so looks like a cardboard cut out! Also there are a couple of areas where the cutting out has skipped across the turrets leaving an obvious blank area that doesn't fit in with the rest of the sky.

Stan, have a play with "defringe" you will find it under the layers tab.
It will help to the minimise the join between the layers.

You are better off making the edge of the sky soft and overlapping the castle slightly. Then change the sky layer mode to 'multiply'. The edge will completely vanish, you will just get a barely perceptible darkening of the edges of the castle. This is a great image though.
