I was too late for the lovely low sun tonight but the twilight reflecting off the snow gave a lovely effect. All processed with ON NoNoise and Lightroom.

Really lovely. The first one would make a good Christmas card. You can almost hear the sound of jingling bells as a sleigh approaches.

That first shot is just spot on - superb capture, perfect point of focus, shallow depth of field and great atmosphere

Everyone has to be right - the first one is a cracker! So are the others but that one has that bit extra.

Great results RobL and agree that the first photo is a beauty
I like No2 also, quite a lot as it happens, as the two are looking a you simultaneously.

Top images. Very well photographed. Well worth any effort.

Best regards

Thanks all, I am glad I dusted off the monopod to steady the 150-450, and insulated trousers whilst kneeling in the snow! The second shot had to be cropped because just to the right another deer with its bum to the camera decided right then to relieve itself with a shower of pellets which I didn’t notice at the time.
