Much as I like the B&W one, the colour is outstanding!

Use of Sigma lens duly noted!
The threatening sky comes across better in B&W, I think, but there's a lovely hint of colour in the distant sea in the first that takes the eye away from the very broad area of sand. I think I would crop it to 16x9. Both very good, nonetheless!

They are both very nice but the mono one is far more dramatic (to my eye, anyway).

Both for quality. B&W for the dramatic effect. I'm with davidwozhere on this.
