I must say I haven't seen this issue before. My batteries have expired a few times during shooting but maybe I was in one of my normal program thus not noticing....
It will be interesting to see if any of the other guys have seen it...

I hadn't either. It happened only once. I'll wait and see if it has occured for any one else.
