Changing light

I have been busy in French Alps for most of August, but managed to take a few photographs. The first few were taken in very strong evening sun, temp. was still over 30.

These next ones were taken in the early morning light, before the sun rose fully above the mountain.

I really like the first three. Alweaysa big fan of strong evning light.

#4 is a great composition, but the foreground needs some extra exposure IMHO

Cheers chap, the mood/colours were hard to capture in the second set, but are close to what I was experiencing, but the light in the first ones was easier to use.
The foreground in 4. was very dark when taken, will have another play.

Hi Nigel,

I like the #3 with its composition and lovely colors, and IMHO i think you did right to post the first two images in mono, it suits them so well...

I have the same problem with the Turkish climate and light, it somehow gets soft, i think it's because of the heat. Any suggestions of what to do, to get around this would be appreciated.
With kind regards,
xtian

I really love the shot where you shot it from the window.

+1.

The last 3 all look like they could do with a boost in contrast. The last one look s abit OOF too.
