Change in the Weather

Hooray! Seems as though the clouds will break a bit next week.

Brian, keep that camera with you - Metcheck says you might have a bit of snow tomorrow!

All looks like we're in for some 'photographic' weather, in the UK at least.

Change in the weather??? In my dreams... had to drive down to Newquay yesterday for work early this morning - I was going to fly but that seemed like a bad idea given the 100mph gusts - anyway driving gave me the chance to load the camera in the car hoping for some nice weather this morning...

NOT A CHANCE!!! 'Orrible sea fog all the way up the coast - I gave up at midday headed east-bound!!!

I was working in the Ft. William area of Scotland this week, weather was miserable, low cloud, rain, wind and mist, ( later snow ), suddenly the sun came out, took a pic or two.

Very nice Galoot, thats the kind of sky I missed yesterday, and guess what ......the snow was all gone this morning.................and now it's ******./,~## raining AGAIN


Can't even be bothered going to the pub.

Rain- sucks !!!
And Ft. William has one of the highest rainfalls in Britain, next time I venture there, I'll need web-feet !!!

They're cracking shots Galoot. We'll definitely have to go up there again this year. IIRC, if you go across the ferry, and drive left, a bit further down, there's an island in the middle that had seals sitting on it. I took some, but the longest lens I had was a 70-210 on an ME Super, so they were a bit small. Should be easily in reach for me now.

Liam Liam Liam, you are forgetting about animals 6th sense for camera field of view. Surely by now you must have noticed by now that the closest they ever come to you is 1.5x the effective range of your longest lens.

getting better gear just means the animals stay further away!

Eeeerrrmmmm . . . here in Murcia we have had clear blue skies and 20 degree plus daytime temperatures . . . since Christmas. Zero rain, no breeze, let alone wind to speak of (sips Gin & Tonic on a sun drenched terrace) and . . it looks like being the same for a while yet. The heating doesn't even come on any more . . . .
