You guessed it, unless there's a particular focal length that you really want to try - just for the hell of it, then I'd advise you to steer well clear.

I had mixed feelings about the Centon lenses.
The 50mm was very sharp and I used it a lot. Great value.
The 70-200mm was very poor for sharpness and I'm not a fan of the push/pull zoom .
The build quality was what you would expect for the money.

I'm in full agreement with the earlier postings. Rather than me having to type out everything again, look up the thread 'centon lenses for pentax' on this site. I've owned both brands. In short, if you're on a budget buy a pentax lens second hand rather than waste your hard earned on a centon equivalent.
