Postage available.

Was debating it for myself and sell on the 50-500mm but funds are low as it's that special time of year and I have 3 kids!

It’s an excellent lens, I just posted a cat photo in the gallery and you can see how sharp it is; however for a K1 or mk. II it will need the changed lens mount from Sigma.

Gareth, maybe one of your kids could have a camera for Christmas then you can buy him/her all the lenses you need next time and for birthdays!

My Bigma lens is not the hsm image stabilized version so even though it is excellent and I really like it, I do need to have the image stabilision so I can't slow my shutter speeds down enough to get the prop blur that I could get if I had the OS

You have IS in the Pentax body, you don't need it in the lens to get prop blur ... that just comes down to practice.

This was with my old 50-500mm, even with the new one I usually turn OS off and use Pentax IS.

Both the weight of the 50 - 500 or the 150 - 500 may be the issue, I do find this with the 150 - 450, so try a 100 - 300 or similar, be a little further away, then crop in, but have something easier to hand hold at slower shutter speeds.

This is the guide I use on my mach loop shots which you've seen, I can post some examples if you wish.
