Can I sell stuff on here?

Well, I've found out that I can only sell in the classifieds of this site if I subscribe.

This is the only website/fora that I have come across that restricts access in this way. The mtb website's and the marine aquaria fora I frequent don't have these limitations.

I don't want to subscribe, but wanted to give forum members the opportunity of buying a lightmeter at a substantial reduction to shop prices.

How can I do this without breaking fora rules?

Don't break the rules . . . just bend them a little.

You might, for instance, describe your item and invite private messages from any interested party's, sort of.

Moderation is rarely moderated...

Seriously though an occasional item her and there is not really a problem, as long as it is Pentax related. A mass of threads offering items for sale would be unreasonable.

Well John, since you ask, it's a Sekonic Flashmate L-308S.

This is a 'prize' for having one of my images torn to bits in Digital SLR magazine recently.

I won't be needing a lightmeter of this calibre (or any calibre for that matter!), so I'm selling it for £70 or so. That's near enough half shop price (I've seen it for around £115).

I've opened it up to have a look, checked through the manual, then decided it was not something I'll use.

Anyone interested?

I wish we had a "quotable quotes" section here. I think this is the reason this list is what it is.
