Can i do a factory re set on my KX

Hi I'm at work so don't have a body with me, But I'm fairly sure that in the Settings Menu (spanner at top of tab) there's an option to 'reset' or 'restore defaults' and the same in the Custom Settings menu.
Have a look and let us know how you get on. I can get to my KX body this evening.

http://www.ricoh-imaging.co.jp/english/support/man-pdf/k-x.pdf. Just open the pdf, click on the binoculars to search and type Reset. It'll find the referrences Steve refers to

Thanks Steve for the advice, i will look at my camera asap and look at re setting as advised. I have a few days off work so aim to go out and use the camera, weather permitting.

Thanks fellas for the advice. I now have my KX back and all the functions returned to normal. Only problem now is the batteries are depleted ! Typical. Right back to the drawing board.

No problems. I was just looking at the forum while taking a short break for a coffee.
Still like my KX, even though I have a K5 too. Hope your batteries are fully recharged now - there's nice light here today, but I'm still at work - grrrr.

Get eneloops as they are great for the Kx/Kr/K30s

Yep they do last longer than any alkaline battery - btw, I use my Kx often and marvel at the litheness of my kit--

I am relatively new to DSLR photography and have a KX that i bought on a whim a few years ago. I tried to re programme the functions and set it up for general use. As a result i am now finding that it has limitations when i try and use it. With mobile phones now and other electrical equipment it is possible to re set the functions back to how it was when it left the factory. Can i do this with my Pentax K-X ? Many thanks in advance.
