A set of manual extension tubes off evil-bay is quite inexpensive. You need to play around with exposure but with your Samsung fitted you'll have a workable subject to lens range.
Give it a try: I find it opens a whole new world of photography for very little outlay.
A tripod and either a cable release or remote release (again both available for under Ł5.00) are essential as the exposure times will be long as you'll nee a small aperture.

I may yet cheat a bit with the macro this week as I suspect the other shot will take time to deal with - my first real play with PSE .
Once the OptioP70 has come I'll do the Macro on that - still to think of a subject mind - but we will see

The kit lens surprised me too. If you put your nose against the object, youŽll get quite macro like image.
