Camera Case for the *ist-D

Hi everyone,
I have a nice *ist-D and wanted a nice case for it.
I have various camera bags but prefer, for everyday carrying, a normal soft case to cover just the camera + medium zoom (the "old-fashioned" type).
I was pleased to see that Pentax did do one - the O-CC10, so I ordered one.
I was most dissapointed when it arrived.
It just didn't fit. I can't explain why not, but it was so bad, I sent it back.
My questions are...
Did I have a one-off dud? Has anyone else experienced this?
I see that there is another case, CF-12 - is this any better?
Or will a Pentax case from another SLRT fit?
