Caliberate LCD screen with Eye One Display 2 Gadget

I have the display 2 and have absolutely no problems with it. At first, after calibration the colours could look like they are off, but standard monitor settings are horrible.
Which settings did you use for calibrating? like: which whitepoint, which gamma, etc. There are so many settings possible with the display 2 that you can't say anything about it without the information.
For TFT's in general you should select native whitepoint.

I used the automatic setup. I just let the gadget do its thing.
Should I try something different ???

You mean the automatic one touch calibration? I don't know exactly what it does because my monitor is not supported by it.
I would try native whitepoint, gamma 2.2 and brightness 90cd/m2

A few days ago I caliberated my LCD screen with a expensive £169 gadget called Eye One 2 which my cousin purchased from the Focus 2007 show.
It did the job Ok on my monitor but I really don't like the colours now. Is this normal ??
The green looks unatural very milky/lightiss grassy coloured green if that makes sense and my images on screen don't look as realistic now.
Any ideas ??
