How do I keep the bulb setting open without a cable release?
There is nowhere on the K-x to fit a cable release, can someone please tell me. I have had many SLR Cameras and this is the only one without a cable point. Please tell me how.
Many thanks

You will need a remote control Alan, you can find them going quite cheap on ebay and Amazon.

Alan, you'll be able to plug in an electronic release,I think the Pentax code is CS 205, google it and you'll also get equivalent options.

Not on the K-x - no jack socket.

This will allow time lapse, etc, using IR, link, but I don't know how well it works or whether it's the only one in the market.

you need the pentax remote control F ,which is IR ,you also will probably need to be able to trigger from behind the camera not sure if the Kx has that facility as the K7 & K5 have, if not then you need the third party one as per JohnX ,s link. the Pentax one you can set up to trigger how you want in the menu i believe
odd lens or 2
