A couple from this morning, in Bushy Park, west London. Made me late for work but I think it was worth it.

Any preferences?

Thanks,

Yes, the first is my favorite because the statue stands out better.
But they are both excellent.

I think the second one is deceiving. It's sharp as a tack in the places where it matters. Gareth is right about the first - the top of the reflected column is noticeable by its absence.

The second might come up even better with a crop from the bottom LHS, and a play with brightness, contrast and curves.

Both are excellent. Various crops and adjustments have been suggested and the images do invite some tweaks. Be careful not to loose the low-contrast misty feel, however.

Well worth being late for work.

These are lovely. Perhaps just the mildest boost of contrast and levels, without destroying the misty atmosphere.

Beautiful shots - Well worth being late for work for IMO. Agree broadly with many of the previous comments although I prefer the second. Both are very accomplished though. I very much like Bushy Park and these capture the mood on a misty morning splendidly

Both well worth being late for work!

I prefer the second, I think because it has a mysterious feel to it. Might just need a smidge of anti-clockwise straightening (either that or my head does), and perhaps a touch more vibrancy in the colours.
If you can't say something nice about Pentax, you won't say anything at all.

Apparently.

I prefer the second one too. The gold of the statue could perhaps be tweaked a bit, the statue straightened as Robbie pointed out, and, personally, I'd probably cheat a bit and magnify the bird in the top left slightly.

Both are excellent, lovely subtle tones in each.

A bit of subtle tweaking - too subtle perhaps?
