Built to Last

I have always been impressed with the weatherproofing of Pentax cameras/lenses. However last week after a visit to the great outdoors my DA55-300 WR jammed on me. I removed it from the body and found it would not extend or turn. I suspected that some dirt/sand had entered. To compound matters I then accidently dropped it from about two feet. Low and behold it righted itself and is working perfectly well now. Not sure if I should be pleased or concerned!!

I am pleased that you got it working again. My philosopy is that it is no use trying to reason with mechanical things. Physical violence is all that the brutes understand.
