Where did you get that colourful bendy stuff, Clarky? Looks very useful.
That first picture is a stunner. The lighting certainly seems to work.

Make sure you get the genuine Loc-line product though. I tried the cheap Chinese stuff they had on E-bay and its rubbish.
I recommend The 3/4inch for the larger flashes though. I have the 1/2 inch and the 3/4.
Paid about $20 for 320mm + fittings for the 1/2 and $28 for the 3/4.

Nice shots Clarky, did you glue the bee down, arent they a bugger to catch still?
You must get some interesting comments carrying that macro gear around the local haunts.

I was sorta wondering how Mrs. Clarky puts up with the bugs, and the wierd camera, and the LBA, (I won't bring up the 'roo incident).... until I saw this recent article....link...now I see the genius in her methods!
If that camera rig doesn't frighten off the hordes of lonely aussie women.....the bugs probably will....

Fired many shots. Didn't kill anything.

Both of my wives love the bugs and my weird camera behavior. They have no choice, what with the excess of females in Sydney i'm beating them off with a stick.
I'm just glad they don't qualify for transportation to Mt Isa

All taken with the D-FA 100mm, and a couple of pics of my new homebrew flash bracket, which was used on these bug shots.
