British Rail Electrical Control Room

I visited here today, a fascinating tour of the rail electrical control room that was in use from 1936 until 1997. It opens on two days a year as part of the Heritage Open Days period.

It is kept in shape by volunteers some of whom are ex engineers who operated this room. More pictures to follow.
