Ordered a camera strap 2 weeks ago-nothing!Phoned today(no way to contact by email).I was told they had none in and they were not expected for another 10 days.If they arrive in 10 days it will be a month from placing the order till delivery. They made no contact to inform me of the delay-i cancelled.Checking on customer feedback websites they appear to carry very little stock leaving the customer to wait till they order it in.I will never order from them again.Fellow members be warned.

Pretty much the same experience I had with them a couple of years or so ago when buying a Sigma 17-70, I cancelled the order and bought elsewhere

To be fair to them, I bought a flash unit from them and they were helpful when I had a problem. It was faulty so I returned it to them and I got a replacement (and working) unit very quickly.

I also bought a couple of lenses from them about three years ago and had no problems, but to be honest I now buy any new equipment from SRS.

They don't ship to Ireland so I haven't been able to experience their service good or bad. More business for SRS!
Listen to my albums free on BandCamp. Or visit my main website for links to photography, etc.

They are a small shop just off Bristol city centre and I do go to them to buy small things like lens hoods in person ( when I go into Bristol for work) and they have always been fine.

I think they overstretch themselves with the website and don't have the capacity to carry the stock we might expect and then are not great with communication.

I don't think they are a dishonest operation just poor at customer service from web sales. I wouldn't buy from them on the web unless they had a great price compared to SRS and I had phoned them to check stock etc first.

I think it is the a same people who always say their website can't keep up with their stock. The website will have items in stock but when you enquire, they say they have to order out in.
