Hi, Nice set. I like the third most. In the 4th pic it would have been great if you could have avoided the electrical post/wires. In the 5th I would have liked to see the full shadow for better feel. By changing the angle you clicked it from, this could have been achieved. Nice pics. regards, Jeeess

Some lovely compositions. Bring the first post on the first shot more into the frame though, it is too close to the edge of the frame.

Number three stands out for me.

I would say there is some general softness and a little sharpening in post processing would be work for me (but not too much). Perhaps a little lift in the levels just to bring a little more contrast and colour. but that is a personal thing.

There are a few dust specks that need removing.

Compositionally I like the treatment of the posts in both shots, but I agree with Snappy chappy about number one being a little cramped on the right- the posts end a little centrally for me as well so a shift to the left would enhance it.

I love taking shots of the coast but live about as far away as you can get in the UK.

Having said that I often forget about the coast in this area. I was going to visit the Cotswold Water Park on Sunday with my Wife and son but weather permitting maybe we'll take a look at Brean.

Thank you all for your kind comments and tips. I'll definitely take it all on board and put it into practice.
What i cant get my head around, is that these photos are nice and sharp in photobucket & my laptop, but they aren't on here. I'm using windows 7 photo viewer to post process at the moment.
One thing i noticed, if you click on one of the photos, and then magnify it one click of the mouse, they sharpen up as they should look. The same happens on my laptop viewer and i cant work out why.
Could one of you try it and see if you get the same results please.

I think they are a little sharper when you click them open. But I have been looking at a screen all day so my eyes maybe deceiving me.

The second one would be my choice and would look good in Black & white with the contrast enhanced. Hope you get on well with your K-r!
