Boxing Day on the Fylde coast

I managed to grab a few minutes during a family outing at Lytham st. Annes between showers and calls of "we are getting soaked and you have the car keys!"

Anyhow, I took these as a taster as I saw some opportunities for returning when I have more time, maybe a panorama with dramatic sky and details such as the last one which is a very tight crop and would benefit from some further exploration.

The underside of the pier is particularly interesting
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

I like the framing of the second and forth one . Look forward to seeing more when you have the time.

Very nice. I really like Pier shots. Good skies too.

I recognise the location for business trips, but I'm particularly drawn to 1, 4, 6 and 7. 1 I like for the colours and the way your eye is drawn across the image as you follow the line of the buildings. In 4 I like the fact you have a great sky and seascape, with the two little human figures almost in silhouette. I is similar to one, the colours and the lines draw your eye around the image. 7 is just quirky and abstract, and I would love to see it bigger! Good job
