I've always found members of the thrush family (thrushes, blackbirds, robins, dunnocks) to be the most willing to pose for pictures - they're not as wary of people as finches, tits, etc. This one looks like one of our female blackbirds (but with a paler chest) and I love the pose in the second shot as she's scanning the ground for insects - good capture.

Nice capture Don, I prefer the first shot despite the excelant feather detail on the second.
