I now have a K5 body, bought from SRS Microsystems for £199 with only 19,000 actuations. Here are a few of my first photos taken with the K5, it's definitely a keeper

The K5 is a great camera, and these are great images, but that has as much to do with your photographic abilities.
Best regards, John

That looks to have been a good purchase of a top flight camera. Old? So what? It's a great camera. Now, will you please keep these excellent pictures flowing?
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

What John says.
Be well, stay safe, but most of all, invest in memories

Thanks David, I have had several Pentax's in the past, K7, K3 and a KP (damm why did I sell that?) but never a K5 but I heard so much praise about it and I am glad I have it now and its a keeper

Super set of photos - great style and processing! Hope to see many more

The K5 series still stands alongside any of the more recently produced bodies - for me it has the right "feel" and build, I've owned most of the models produced since and the fact that I still have 2 K5iis bodies speaks for itself!

Thank you Lenny, I have had several Pentax's in the past including the K7 which preceeded the K5 and had the same beautiful ergonomic body, it's such an enjoyable camera to use
