I prefer the middle one, as it has it is brighter and the lines are less monotonous with the corner of the building there. I'd maybe crop more of the down right corner to emphasize the upper left part more.

Thanks guys! I was hoping for bluer skies but despite checking back several times over a couple of hours had to make do with a small hole in the huge expanse of white clouds

A nice idea Tim, I like number one and two although I agree with points made about perhaps more balance from a less cloud infested sky
I also think that perhaps number one could benefit slightly from a raising of the exposure in the darker tones of that wonderful Hotel establishment
Definitely an idea (blue on blue) to pursue I think

These are really good - a building I know very well (from the outside!). 1 and 3 for me are the best. 2 doesn't work for me as the diagonal doesn't continue right to the left edge.

I live there (not in the Travelodge, but in the city). Unfortunately the sun hasn't been seen in Cambridge since before Christmas.
