Blossom

This is an image of white spring blossom, seen on a tree in a churchyard last Thursday. It was captured as a colour JPEG, using the Pentax KP with the DA 18-135 lens at 135mm, and converted to monochrome in Nik Silver Efex Pro and PaintShop Pro.

UM: I'm still using the free version of the Nik Collection from several years ago - it seems to work seamlessly as a plug-in to PaintShop Pro (mine is the 2022 version). I use only the Silver Efex module, for converting colour to mono in a very simple way - I choose the Preset that gives the appearance closest to what I want, then move the image back into PaintShop Pro for any further editing.
