Had a chance to try out the Sigma 24-70 f2.8 today. Quite impressed

Nice one Barrie, I hope you enjoyed your day out. Blanchland is a lovely village, I used to go there a lot.

It is a nice lens Barrie - I have just sold mine as I had upgraded to the Pentax 17-70 - but I have to say the IQ of the Sigma was excellent

Carl
No matter how many lenses I have owned - I have always needed just one more

So far - I have been impressed with the Pentax - I wanted something a bit wider and lighter and it fits the bill. I do think I may miss the Sigma but it was woefully under-used

Nice one Barrie. Is it the new model or the old one? I've got the old version and find it very capable.

The curve of the road, then the grass patch and then the wall....very nice indeed. I really like it....
