Grey and windy this morning but the windsurfers came out in droves.

I'd never have thought it before seeing these pictures, but grey and murk seems to suit windsurfing! The colours of the sails and boards stand out well and the hazardous nature of the sport is emphasized - human against the unforgiving wind and sea.

Top of the list for me are:
- No. 2, for overall composition and the smallness of the wind surfers against the vastness of the sea and sky.
- No. 6, for the Needles, breaking wave and wind surfer complementing each other so well.
The action shots are impressive, but for me they don't have the same 'emotional' impact as the others - apart from amazement that anyone would do such a crazy thing!

Cheers Steve, didn't give it a thought but I suppose it almost looks like selective colouring.

Well captured Mike. Great timing.

Best regards

Nice little set - agree with Steve's comments and favourites, the composition in 2 and 6 appeal to me more than some of the others. Good Stuff
