Big changes for copyright law???

Just picked up this link on another forum, at first I thought it was an "april fool" but the article is dated the 10th. this is seriously bad news if it goes ahead.

phew, looks like it's basically a case of someone missunderstanding and going "OMFGZORS!!!! THEY WANT TO ST33L MAH M3GAHURTZZ!!!!111ELEVEN".

we could always petition the governments to amend the bill, so that revenues and proceeds generated from "Orphaned" copyright works goes towards feeding and clothing "Orphaned" children.......
Fired many shots. Didn't kill anything.
