Who's got strange avatars? And what's this about aliens?
Yikes!
By the way, wasn't Pentaxian one of those arcade games from the early 80s?

Hello one and all!! I can only aspire to the genius (/insanity) of you veterans. I'll work at it during those long minutes that are part of the SD card copy to PC hard drive moments. Those times when suspense impacts on the speed of the clock.
Do I sound mad enough for a beginner? A kindergarten Pentaxian for now.
Thanks for the welcome.

If you really want to appear mad, wear your underpants on you head, push a pencil in each nostril and answer all questions with "Wibble"
It works for me!
Oh yes! welcome Rataegeoff.

How come I feel at home already? I like the sound of the User Club uniform and it will be good to always have a pencil handy!
Is it a case of wearing the uniform to help relax the folk on the other side of the lens. Do they smile even broader when they see your underpants on your head?
The things we do in the name of our hobby.
Cheers to one and all...wibbles off into the distance.....

I've already dived in with a couple of questions on issues that were challenging my handling and understanding of the more advanced features of my camera.
Its been great so far -and I feel like a newcomer who now knows that he has many good Pentax user cyber mates.
I'm always glad that i purchased the K10D - and especially so when flicking through the memory card after a day clicking away.
This User club site seems to bring together a great cross section of experienced and enthusiastic fellow "Pentaxians" With every thread I read I seem to learn something new.
One day I hope I can contribute and help others.
