While I'm waiting for the traffic to subside (fat chance)...

2 - Alexander Rossi prepares not to make his F1 race debut with Marussia (K-5 IIs, Sigma 100-300mm f4)

3 - The winner set against Spa's full majesty (K-5, DA 17-70mm f4)

4 - (K-5, Sigma 50-150mm)

5 - "Keep the bloody noise down..." (K-5 IIs, Sigma 100-300mm f4)

6 - It wouldn't have been Spa without some of this (K-5 IIs, Sigma 100-300mm f4)

Comment Image
7 - Controversy-free moment for Lewis Hamilton (K-5 IIs, Sigma 100-300mm f4)

Comment Image
8 - Nico Hülkenberg crests Raidillon (K-5 IIs, Sigma 100-300mm f4)

Comment Image
9 - Rare shot of Pastor Maldonado not hitting something. The snappers are probably taking a shot similar to #7 or #8. None of them is using a Pentax, I'm afraid (K-5, DA 17-70mm f4)

Blooming eck, quick work getting these up

Typically great ( and varied!) set, full of interest, but 3 and 6 are particularly striking

Always love a good cow shot, of course

Excellent from a very enjoyable race, looking forward to seeing my son Adam's photos. Hope the usual GP traffic jam wasn't too bad.

That was fast work! Yet another great set, Nos. 3 and 9 for me; Oh - and no. 5 as well, if just for the laugh!

Thanks, all.

The speed element involved a bit of cheating - all except the grid girl were taken on Friday or Saturday. Drove away from the track just after six on Sunday evening, reached north-west Kent just before 11, am about to judge the weekly Pentax comp and will be en route to Oulton Park by about 4.30am, for a day of historic racing.

Just another straightforward weekend...

Another fine set of images Simon, No 3 is my favourite as well. Spa was the first GP I went to and still remains one of my favourites on the calendar.

Very nice set, 3 and 9 are particularly clear - would you say that's more down to the camera body, or the lens, or the combination?
