The Photobucket link brings up "not found", try grabbing the tag from the 'Bucket page.

Hi IS,

Can't see immediately why the image didn't show in page, but the link to the page had an extra [/img] tag at the end of it, it should have been:

http://s80.photobucket.com/albums/j168/impotentspider/Macro%20Work/

Ah, the image had 'i80.photobucket' instead of 's80.photobucket'. Should show below:

What a big bee! It's amazing just how hairy they are once you get nice and close to them. Did you stroke this one?

Hi Spider..

no idea why it doesn't work for you. I've tried Upper case and lower case and they both work fine, but here it is for you.

BTW nice pics..

Not sure if this is correct but some suggested using the 3w in the url otherwise it would look internally for the image.

Could be wrong, just a suggestion form my very bad memory.

Hi JC,

it's the http:// bit that needs to be inserted for that, but you got the reason right. The only thing I can think of is that Spider, being new to here may have to have posted say 50 times before the board software lets him add images to posts. Just a thought really, but I'm bringing myself around to that idea.

I help manage one of the tech support sites, and there are various things that the post count enables.. images, custom avatars, images in the signature area etc., so it's probably right.. :

Cheers

Some of my first posts had images in, so I don't think that's it.

Seems a bit strange that the Photobucket site uses 'i80' and 's80' for URL's, both seem to work, although obviously not for IS.

Aaaaargh!

foiled yet again.

Maybe it does have something to do with post counts, perhaps the board "settings" have changed?

Hang on a minute, just noticed in the bottom left corner under "options" it says HTML is OFF, wonder if that could be it?
