I took this at the weekend with a deliberately shallow DoF - comments on the approach appreciated. Taken with K-r & Tamron SP90 at F2.8.

Overall I like the photo, it fills the frame nicely. Lavender and a bee a nice combination.

And, a good example for anyone wanting to know just what DOF is. Background nicely blurred too.

It also works if rotated so the lavender is pointing upright. There are a couple of droplets hanging which also add to the nice detail and so would give the game away if you did rotate.
